A tad belated for #talkbacktuesday, as my laptop punked out on me last night, but this was a earlier submission I particularly liked. I like the eerie color palate, which matches the tone suggested by the cattle skulls. Is the family dead, absent? There’s an element of the retrospective that makes me wonder about the family’s current status.

We are running a huge deficit, yes. I’m not going to argue about government spending in this post. But I will ask one question - What would happen if Washington DC gridlock eased and the parties were focused more on governance versus winning re-election and fundraising?

Wouldn’t that be fantastic?
